I work with you to make meaning of your struggles and to understand the root causes that feed your reactions to situations and people. I will tailor the therapeutic journey that is best suited to you in accordance with your needs. As counselling progresses, I will support you identify and gain insight into your experiences. This understanding gives you the time and space to come to choices and solutions that feel right for you.

Clinical background
My clinical experience comes from working in the NHS, Private Practice and charity sectors and involves short-term and long-term therapeutic work. My approach is psychodynamic, which means that I will be working with current and past experiences when thinking about your current circumstances. This includes pointing out any conscious and unconscious thoughts, patterns, and behaviour that might be leading to distress.
