About me

I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist BACP accredited. I work with individuals in person or online to help improve their wellbeing and mental health. My London practice is located in Canary Wharf E14 4AS, a 4 min walk from West India and Westferry DLR stations and 10 min walk from the underground. My practice in Warminster BA12 (Wiltshire) is conveniently situated for easy access.

I work with you to make meaning of your struggles and to understand the root causes  that feed your reactions to situations and people.  I will tailor the therapeutic journey that is best suited to you in accordance with your needs. As counselling progresses, I will support you identify and  gain insight into your experiences. This understanding gives you the time and space to come to choices and solutions that feel right for you.

Clinical background

My clinical experience comes from working in the NHS, Private Practice and charity sectors and involves short-term and long-term therapeutic work. My approach is psychodynamic, which means that I will be working with current and past experiences when thinking about your current circumstances. This includes pointing out any conscious and unconscious thoughts, patterns, and behaviour that might be leading to distress.

I have also a background in banking after working many years in the financial industry, which gives me a good insight into the issues faced by people in very demanding jobs.
